Manufacturing Process
Sewn Flags
- Applique:
The term "Appliqué" refers to the process of sewing a design or lettering onto a flag. Appliquéd flags are created with premium quality Solar Max Nylon. A standard nylon Appliquéd flag's design reads correct on the front side and reverse (mirrored) on the backside. This is called single face or "Single Reverse". Single face is normal for most outdoor applications. For applications where the flag must read correctly from both sides, we can make two flags and sew them together, this is called double construction or "Double Faced".
- Ideal for flag quantities of 1 or more.
- Embroidered:
The most costly of all processes. The richest look of all processes with the luxurious style of your company seal. Individual color match threads on a nylon field create the regal look of a tapestry. Can do quantities of one or more.
- Ideal for flag quantities of 1 or more.

Our long-lasting screen-printed flags are the choice for large quantities of a single design. Made with Ultra Violet resistant ink. This process has a minimum order quantity of 6 pieces and can have a maximum of 3 colors on a white nylon background. For any other color of nylon the maximum number of colors is 1. Gradients cannot be achieved with this process.

Digital Printing
We offer several digital printing processes: dye sublimation, acid dye, and ink jet. Read on to find out which is most suitable for your needs.
- Dye Sublimation:
We can reproduce any design from simple to extremely intricate. Dye Sublimation offers better durability and a much better color bloom.
The process starts with a white flag and dyes all colors into the material by heat transferring the dye to the fabric's core, producing a rich, radiant appearance. Dye Sublimation gives a crisp clear image on one side only.
The Dye Sublimation process gives a soft supple finish. A Dye Sublimated flag can be printed on a variety of materials and has a minimum order quantity of 1.

- Acid Dye:
Acid dyed nylon printing offers color and coverage and the durability for outdoor flags. High penetration for display as a single reverse flag. Better process for higher quantities of flags.

- Inkjet:
Similar to digital printing with great penetration of the inks into the fabric. Good for four color process or spot colors. Can do quantities of one or more. Can be used for Avenue Banners on a 600 denier nylon.
